A bistro in the heart of historic Prague
Bistro Klementinum is a place for good coffee, fresh food and a quiet moment in the unique surroundings of Prague's historic Klementinum.
Every day we prepare fresh lunches, paninis, filled breads, salads and other light snacks. We also serve coffee, ice cream, desserts, and hot and cold drinks.
We put an emphasis on Czech and local products, and on an offer that stays fresh and changes with what's available on any given day.

We don't plan our offer down to the last detail — it changes with what's fresh and available. We'd rather prepare fewer things properly than stretch the menu to dozens of items just for the appearance of choice.

We favour what's close by
We believe good food starts with good ingredients. That's why we favour Czech and local producers when choosing what we serve.
You won't find the usual line-up of big international brands here. We'd rather seek out Czech producers and products that make sense to us.
You'll find things like do:pusy ice pops, Karáskova lemonade, or Mixit snack bars on our shelves — brands built on the same honest work and simple, straightforward ingredients we care about.
Just like our ingredients, we want our offer to stay fresh. We prepare it fresh each day, and when something sells out, we don't feel the need to stretch it endlessly.

No. Bistro Klementinum is an independent business located inside the National Library building, in the historic Klementinum complex.
Do you take table reservations?
We don't take reservations, but there's always room – just stop by whenever suits you during our opening hours.
Do you have a fixed menu with prices?
You won't find a fixed menu on the website. Our lunches, paninis, salads, desserts and drinks change with what's fresh and available, so we don't list set items or prices.
How do I get to the bistro?
The bistro is inside the National Library building at Mariánské náměstí 5 in Prague. Enter through Entrance A, pass the turnstiles and continue straight ahead — it's on the ground floor.

What are your opening hours?
We're open Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 18:00, and Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00. We're closed on Sundays.
